PEU Announces 4th Triennial Congress
The Professional Educators’ Union (PEU) is proud to host its 4th Triennial Congress, taking place from 1 – 3 October 2025 at the Kopanong Hotel and Conference Centre in Benoni, Johannesburg. This landmark event will bring together educators, union leaders, policymakers and partners in a pivotal gathering that reinforces PEU’s mission of advancing professional representation and strengthening education across South Africa.

Programme Highlights
The three-day programme will include:

Day 1 (1 October): Presidential and keynote addresses, solidarity messages from national and international partners and commission sessions.

Day 2 (2 October): Official opening by the Minister of Basic Education, followed by national and provincial reports, plenary discussions and commission sessions.

Day 3 (3 October): Adoption of Congress resolutions, constitutional amendments and the election of new leadership, concluding with an acceptance speech by the incoming President.
